Life Happens

I know, I know, I know.... I am really behind in posting! But I have an excuse! A little recap..... Patrick got sick. Maggie got sick. Maggie teethed. Maggie got double ear infection. And then this week, Maggie was found to be allergic to the penicillin for the double ear infection! The poor thing was covered from head to toe with raised red bumps. There were so many that in areas she'd just have one huge bump from them all clustering together. It looked awful!!! Talk about scary! Until I knew she was just allergic and not suffering from some contagious measle-like infection, I was a basket case. You just wanted to scratch yourself looking at her! But, she was perfectly unconcerned. It didn't seem to bother her at all. Thankfully.... It sure as heck bothered her parents! Okay, then Lily got sick. Then she got better and went to a sleepover party (which I got lost for an hour trying to find). Now I just got online and there is an email from her Tuesday school saying that someone in Lily's class has head lice. I will definitely cry if she has lice. I'm not sure I can take one more thing. But I will have no choice and will therefore get through it, I guess! I'm trying to be optimistic!!! Not my strong suit but much easier since November (don't ask, just be glad for me...teehee).
So anyway, that is my saga. Now I am going to go to bed! Yippee! Sweet dreams one and all!
