Lily had a stomach bug that day. She was so devastated after working so hard on her project. I went up to the school and set it up for her and left a note asking the judges to call her if possible for the interview part of her project. They did! I was so thrilled that they remembered, and it made Lily feel a whole lot better. Later that night Thomas and Patrick went back up to BFA for the awards ceremony. Lily won second place in her division!! Patrick accepted her trophy (sounds like the Golden Globes, huh?) and then he accepted his own 3rd place trophy in his division!! (I like exclamation marks! Remember that Seinfeld episode?) Lily's project was on static electricity, and Patrick's was about "Which Soap Cleans Best?" Here are some snaps from the experiments:

We had a lot of fun and learned much. And best of all, Lily is recovered from her 3 infections in 4 weeks!!!!!
