Twenty three years ago today, my mom married my stepdad Rick. It was Labor Day weekend as it is today. They went on a little honeymoon over that weekend and Nicole and I stayed with Mom's friend Marcy and watched alot of the Jerry Lewis Telethon......funny the things that stick in my head! (I didn't know who Jerry Lewis was then, but thanks to Thomas, I sure know a lot about him now!!)......I remember the beautiful aqua blue dress my mom wore and the little dressing room where we got ready.
Mom and Rick, I wish you many, many more happy years together, and I thank you for your love and care for me over the years and for being such wonderful grandparents to our kiddos!
