We started back to school this week. It is going pretty well. It's nice to have a schedule believe it or not :)
We are studying Maine and Massachusetts in Geography this week and I was drilling the kids on what we've learned..........
Me: Patrick, what's the capital of Maine?
Patrick: Uhhh........Alfalfa?
Later on, we were looking through a cookbook called "Eat Your Way Through the USA" also for geography this year. We got to "Montana" and Patrick said, "They named a state after Hannah Montana??"
I just cracked up because (besides the obvious!) both my kids, who've only had a very brief glance of the Hannah Montana show in a hotel room, have been commenting constantly on how she is everywhere.........."Mom, she's on a lunchbox!"........."Mom, you can buy Hannah Montana underwear!!"
And last week Patrick asked me (at Walmart) if Hannah Montana could take over the world. He really wondered about it.
So funny!

Carrie, your posts are just absolutely hilarious. You need to always post what your kids say. It just makes me laugh so hard.
