Lily participated in her Tuesday school's Science Fair. She did an experiment on how different juices cleaned dirty pennies. Only 5 of the 15 kids in her class joined in. I was so proud of her for wanting to compete. They awarded one grand prize for each grade. Although she didn't win the grand prize, she did earn a medal for participating, of which she is very proud! She learned about acids and bases, the components of pennies, the pH scale and the scientific method. Ask her what a hypothesis is next time you see her!
